[Review] Online shopping @ Zalora Malaysia

Just want to share my shopping experience at Zalora. I always feel skeptical about buying shoes online because don't get to try on them, feel very uncertain if the sizes are correct. After hearing from my friends about the pleasant experience they have buying stuff from Zalora, so I thought why not I give it a try.

So this is the package I get. They use GDEX courier service to deliver the stuff. I was expecting a nice box containing the things I bought, but I get this. I guess they don't have bigger boxes???

Unfortunately after I have tried on them, it appears that these are not too much of my liking. So I had to let them go, I had to return them to Zalora, and this would be the first time I make a return. A return form and pos laju slip are enclosed so I could conveniently feel up the forms. It was very simple....

Step 1: Fill up the return form - Just put down the reasons for return (there are options to choose from)

Step 2: Fill up the Pos Laju slip - Just put down your name, address, telephone number... and whatever that is needed.

Step 3: Put everything into the courier envelope / bag/ boxes and seal it. Stick the Pos Laju slip on the envelope / courier bag / box. (Normally Zalora will deliver things in a nice Zalora box, this can be used back in case of return, I heard too they would enclose the pos laju bag as well for return, but why didn't  Iget it???)

Step 4: Go to Pos Office / Pos Laju office and drop the box. You don't have to pay anything. In odd cases that you were charged for the delivery, ask for a receipt from the pos office and claim the amount back from Zalora. 

Step 5: Go back and wait for the refund in form of store credit. In my experience, it was quite speedy, I dropped off the items at pos office on Saturday, and I received the store credit on Tuesday afternoon. It took only 1-2 working days. Satisfied.

Step 6: Continue browsing and shopping at Zalora. What if the next purchase is not right again? Return again and get a refund.... then shop again.... the cycle goes on....

What's the most delicious lip balm?

 With all those lip balm, lip gloss, and whatever lip care product out there, I have this lip balm which is one of the best. I bought this from Kyoto, Japan, couple of years back. The weather was dry, I had very terrible cracked lips and then I came across this amazing lip balm at one of the store in Kyoto, Japan. The store was so crowded with people.

This is Yojiya Yuzu Tsuyaya lip balm, just dap a little bit on your lips, you can instantly smell the distinct citrus aroma, which makes it so delicious and makes me wanna eat my lips. It is not sticky nor oily, it is just right for moisturizing the lips and leave it with a little shine, which could last overnight. Applied it overnight I could feel my lips become softer than ever.

Not only it is delicious, it has fantastic moisturizing power and it heals I first used this when I had really bad cracked lips. Just put it on for the first time, I could feel the difference. It saved my dry lips. 

Yojiya do have a website, www.yojiya.co.jp. There are many other products that they are selling, and I noticed that they have come out with  a stick type of lip balm , which is more convenient and easier to put on.  This also could be found on ebay. Price wise, I bought this at around a thousand over Yen. It is not cheap, but for what it can do to my lips, and for how tasty it is, it worth the price.

How to have soft fair and smooth skin?

Of all those products I have tried so far, Nivea Body UV Whitening Serum seems to work. It comes with SPF 25 PA++. It kinda lighten my skin tone, smoother the skin texture, but it has no help on pigmentation. I guest it's gonna take a long time to get rid of them... Or maybe have to live with them just like that   :( damn hot sun really damage the skin.

The watery texture of this serum/ lotion can be absorbed within seconds with some light massage. It smells good too. I remember years ago the texture of Nivea lotions were really thick and could stay on the skin for minutes. Absorption was really slow. For couple of years I have changed to other brands coz of this but over the years it has improved alot.Overall this is a good try for such comparably inexpensive body care product.

Use together with this Extra Whitening Body Milk for better effect. It says says it contains 50x vitamin C and within 14 days of regular use can reveal fairer and smoother skin. For whitening, Nivea FTW. But no matter what whitening skin care you are using, just avoid staying under the sun. Prevention is better than cure.
